We visited the restaurant with small children. The service was very quick and very friendly (especially towards the children), and special requests were met without any problems. The food (steak, schnitzel, roast, soup, etc.) was delivered quickly and was very, very good. In terms of taste and price. The ambience classic and very clean. Another highlight was the view of the valley and the mountains. Would visit this place again and again if we came up close ... Definitely visited Word again

We arrived at this great tavern dirty and tired after a long day in nature. We were kindly assigned a nice table with a great view of the valley. We quickly selected something from the small but fine menu and after a short wait the fresh side salads arrived. The main courses from pork fillet to chicken breast and children's schnitzel were all very, very tasty. The icing on the cake was dessert. Our kids even got a small magnum ice cream on the house. Can only be recommended, friendly, tasty, fresh. Thumbs up.

Quaint, small inn with very tasty food and fast, friendly service. The rump steak ordered (rarely ordered) was spot on and of excellent quality.

As the locals would call it, a Geheimtipp!! This place is absolutely amazing, beautiful and the food, simply the best! If you're close or local and looking for good beer and food then don't hesitate to get yourself here and enjoy. Simply unbeatable!

Very cozy and rustic inn. The regional and down-to-earth cuisine is more than very good, everything tasted excellent. We felt very comfortable. The staff is very nice, courteous and quick. Everything was just right for a comfortable stay. We will definitely be back and give 5 *****!

An absolute insider tip and the journey is worth it! We had an absolutely fantastic dinner! The ambience is quaint, cozy and just very pleasant. We already know where we will stop on our next visit.

The restaurant even deserves more than 5 stars because the food is delicious, the portions are large and the price-performance ratio is simply great. We had a very nice waitress and a nice place on the terrace. The homemade cakes are superb. We would love to come back and will definitely recommend the restaurant.

Good and inexpensive food, a cozy atmosphere and fast service, what more could you want. A bit out of the way and unfortunately difficult to find. Good thing we found it.

A gem in the middle of the Bavarian Forest and difficult to find because something is hidden. Nevertheless, it is definitely worth a detour, as the portions are large and tasty, the prices are reasonable and, above all, the staff is very friendly. The view is also terrific.

It says open until midnight. When we came by at 9:45 PM, no one was there. Kitchen had been closed an hour before.

Super nice service, very nice atmosphere. Outside seating, also covered. The food was delicious. Price performance simply great. We were completely satisfied. At the moment a reservation is very useful. We will be back.

We went to the Schindeldacherl for the first time yesterday and are thrilled. The food tastes great, the Käsespätzle a dream, the staff extremely friendly, a great view from the terrace, loving and cozy furnishings and decoration within the restaurant and on the terrace. For the children there is a play tower with a slide on a large meadow outside. We would love to come back!

The food was appetizing and it quickly came to the table. The environment outside is also quite nice when you sit outside. But as I said, the food was delicious and it tasted good to my family.

Simply first class. The food was very very good for a low price, portions are also very large. Will definitely come back as soon as I am in the area again
